POST: Teaching Assistant

LOCATION: Grange Park Primary School

WORKING PATTERN: 16.5 hours per week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday . 08:45 - 15:15, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Term time + 1 week.

CONTRACT: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026

SALARY: Scale 3 point 5 to point 6 - £25,583 - £25,989 (£9,900 - £10,057 actual)

A unique opportunity has arisen to join a passionate team of staff in a growing Multi Academy Trust.

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our happy, hardworking team at Grange Park.

Community Academies Trust is a successful, forward-thinking organisation which maintains high expectations of staff and students.

The Teaching Assistant will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and development. They will work closely with teachers and senior staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences, provide individual and small-group support, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The Teaching Assistant will also assist with the care and supervision of pupils, helping to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. This role will involve working in both the classroom and other learning areas across the school.

Grange Park Primary School is part of the Community Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust with the express purpose of transforming schools in community Hubs, through applying a holistic view of education.
