Teaching Assistant job summary
Full Time Teaching Assistant – (8.50-3.20)
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant (Level 2 for 27.5 hours per week – term time) to provide in-class support in English and maths lessons and to run intervention groups in the afternoons. The post will initially be in Key Stage 1 and previous experience of supporting in phonics lessons or running intervention programmes is desirable

Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant is desirable, but training will be provided.
There is the possibility of some of the hours being used for admin support in the school office so knowledge of word and excel and good IT and people skills are required. This would be subject to agreement with the candidate and would depend on the needs of the school.
The salary for the post is £24404 full time.
