Location: Hatfield Academy
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2026
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 3:30pm, Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: January 2026

Who We’re Looking ForWe are looking for someone who:

- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, resilient, and adaptable.
- Can work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Has experience working with children, ideally in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
- Shares our belief that every child can achieve, without exception.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need additional help.
- Help prepare learning materials and resources.
- Contribute to the creation of a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring their inclusion and progress.
- Promote the school’s values and uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
