About this Role
At Horncastle Primary School, we believe the first steps in a child’s education are the most important. Following the promotion of a valued team member, we are looking for a permanent Teaching Assistant to bring fresh energy and care to our school with an option to join our busy, two-class Reception department.

The Role As a vital part of our teaching assistant team, you will:
- Support children’s social and emotional skills, helping them find their voice and regulate their feelings.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver an engaging, play-based curriculum.
- Create a safe, "home-from-home" environment where children feel brave enough to learn.
Hours: 27 hours 30 mins per week (Term Time + 5 Training Days).
Schedule: 5 hours 30 mins daily.
About You We are looking for someone who is naturally warm, patient, and proactive.
Experience: Previous Early Years experience is desirable but not essential
Skills: A love for outdoor learning, a "can-do" attitude, and a genuine interest in child development.
Qualities: You should be a team player who communicates brilliantly with both young children and their families!
