We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant - Inclusion to join our team. This role is vital in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them to access learning and thrive in a nurturing environment.

Main Purpose of role:

• To contribute to facilitating pupil access to learning, assessing and supporting achievement and monitoring progress
• To provide practical and developmental assistance to cater for the educational, personal and emotional development of all pupils;

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to children who are experiencing difficulties in learning due to learning, social or emotional needs
• Contribute to decision making around the children and assessment.
• Work with relevant staff to assess children's needs and devise strategies to overcome barriers preventing them from achieving their full potential.
• Work with children and relevant staff to develop, implement, monitor and key actions.
• Help children to increase their confidence and self-esteem by listening to them and devising appropriate strategies.
• Run groups in response to assessment (e.g. motional), including creative and sporting activities.
• Help children who are not achieving their potential on a one-to-one basis outside the classroom or within lessons.
• Liaise with relevant staff and external agencies, as needed, to ensure all children's needs are met.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports and evaluations.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the principal.
