What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team at Penbridge School. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality teaching and learning support under the guidance of classroom teachers, helping to make learning engaging, accessible and inclusive for all pupils.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to pupils under the direction of the Classroom Teacher
- Coach and support pupils' learning by supervising and assisting them in1:1 sessions and small groups
- Help pupils engage across a variety of learning activities and interventions
- Work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils have access to the resources they need to succeed
- Participate in the Walking Bus between school sites as and when required
About You:
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Educated to a minimum Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Highly motivated, energetic and reflective with a passion for helping pupils and building positive relationships with both students and parents/carers

Formally known as Penhale Infant School and Newbridge Junior School, we officially joined together in September 2022 to form Penbridge Infants and Junior School.The infants site comprises of a nursery with 24 places for funded 2-4 year olds and a 2-form entry infant school with 180 children on the roll including 24 in our Rainbow Fish Inclusion Unit.The juniors site comprises of a 4-form entry school with 440 children on the roll.
