Teaching Assistant - Intermediate job summary
We are looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupil learning and development as well as pastoral wellbeing.
The role is 20 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8:45am till 1pmThe successful candidate must hold a relevant Level 3 Qualification.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing nurture, individual, or group support for children
- Motivating and encouraging pupils
- supporting children with social, emotional and friendship issues
- supporting children with Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
- providing support across a range of child-centred activities to promote child development, learning, and good attendance
