- points 4-7, £24,404 to £25,584 per annum (£18,485 - £19,379 per annum pro-rated)
What skills and experience we're looking for
A good relevant education to GCSE level
Good interpersonal skills with both adults and children
Ability to follow instructions and respond to management directions
A good working knowledge of ICT
Willingness to extend skills through appropriate training and CPD
Commitment to working within the school’s Safeguarding Policy
A passion and desire to drive progress forwards
A strong commitment to the importance of consistency and a willingness to uphold the school’s approach and policies at all times
Flexibility to undertake any role within the department
Commitment to high standards and expectations
An ability to adapt quickly to changes

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team at John Madejski Academy (soon to be called Hartland High School). We are proud members of the Greenshaw Learning Trust from 1st January 2025, a ‘family’ of like-minded schools, that collaborate to provide mutual support, share their good practice and learn from each other, whilst retaining and developing our own distinctive character.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide valuable support to teaching staff and make a significant contribution to the education and well-being of pupils.
