What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
- Has a proven ability to support pupils with ASD or SEMH needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
- Has the ability to work with a team in a responsive and flexible manner, responding to the instruction and advice of the provision lead.
- Can use their initiative to solve problems.
- Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
- Is able to lead small groups. 1:1 teaching along with preparing lessons and resources as well as completing paperwork to demonstrate learning and impact.
- To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.
- Is flexible, committed to our school and willing to take a full part in the life of our school community.
