Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our team at Leighterton Primary School. Within this role, you will work with the class teacher to deliver lessons in a mixed age class and to support students across the curriculum including those who have additional needs. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, positive and reflective practitioner, with a passion for teaching and learning - someone who enjoys working as part of a team to encourage all children to be the best they can be. The hours of work will be morning only (08.45 - 12.00hrs), 16.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

Salary will be dependent on experience. This is a fixed term appointment in the first instance.
