What skills and experience we're looking for
St. Cuthbert’s RC High School are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant – Level 1. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust
This role will focus on addressing the needs of students who need particular help due to their barriers to learning. These barriers to learning are diverse and often interlinked. You will be supporting students in a variety of lessons.
Experience of working within a busy SEND department in a secondary school setting would be preferred but being organised and proactive is just as important. Working across the school you will need to be personable and a good communicator. We want our students to love learning, develop holistically over their school career to be well placed to "be the best they can be" in line with our school ethos.
The successful candidate should be supportive of the ethos and values of the school and have the ability toe encourage and motivate our students. You will understand the importance of developing a positive culture in our organisation and have high expectations of their pupils.
