Join our vibrant junior school and help every child thrive. We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to become part of our dynamic and inclusive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dedicated Inclusion Team, supporting pupils, including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
The successful candidate will provide tailored learning and pastoral support for children with a range of additional needs and may be required to support with intimate care duties where appropriate. We are looking for someone who is nurturing, adaptable and passionate about making a positive difference to children’s educational and personal development.
Working pattern:
Monday to Friday 8.30 - 12.30, 1.00 - 3.30 and until 4.30 on Thursdays
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of supporting children with SEND and a strong commitment to inclusive practice
- Is open to supporting pupils with personal and intimate care needs where required
- Builds positive relationships with children, families and staff and works well as part of a team
- Demonstrates patience, flexibility and a positive attitude towards supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
