About the role
You will work under the guidance of class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teaching, learning, and play activities.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusion.
  • Assisting children’s personal, social and emotional development.
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Creating a safe, engaging and welcoming environment.

About you
We are looking for someone who:

  • Has GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Has experience of working with children in a school, nursery or youth setting.
  • Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and teamwork.
  • Has good communication, organisation and IT skills.
  • Is willing to undertake training, including First Aid.
