About the role
You will work under the guidance of class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting teaching, learning, and play activities.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Assisting children’s personal, social and emotional development.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Creating a safe, engaging and welcoming environment.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Has experience of working with children in a school, nursery or youth setting.
- Is committed to safeguarding, inclusion and teamwork.
- Has good communication, organisation and IT skills.
- Is willing to undertake training, including First Aid.
