Teaching Assistant - Level 1 or 2 job summary

Our position is a fixed term appointment for 12 months with the potential to be extended depending on future pupil numbers. Working hours will be 8.30am to 3.15pm with a 30-minute or 1 hour unpaid lunch break, 5 days per week, term time only (28.75 or 31.25 paid hours per week). Level 1 is paid at Grade 4 and Level 2 is paid at Grade 6. We have quoted the full time equivalent salary so the actual salary will need to be calculated to allow for the working hours agreed at interview, term time working and any existing continuous service earned. There is also a pay award pending.

Salary: Level 1 starting on Grade 4 or Level 2 starting on Grade 6, depending on experience and skills
