What skills and experience we're looking for
Kingsway Community Trust wishes to appoint highly motivated, dynamic and talented teaching assistant to work on a one to one basis, in and out of class to support individual pupils with SEND needs. The role will be based at Ladybarn Primary, on a one year, temporary contract.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a school setting with pupils with Special Educational Needs. They will be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual. They will be strong at building relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Strong literacy skills are essential and successful completion of tests in these areas is part of the interview process.
Level 1, Grade 2 £26,016 pro rata, 25.8 hours per week, term time only equates to apx £16,476 per annum.
Hours of work: 8.50am to 3.00pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak – 25.8 hours per week
First stage assessment date: 30 June 2026
Second stage assessment/Interview date: 3 July 2026
This position is subject to 2 professional references and DBS clearance.
