13.25 Hours - Thursday and Friday , Term time + inset days
We are looking to expand our team. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people, who are able to engage with our students. You will be working alongside at least two other teaching assistants so you must be able to work in a team. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to communicate clearly in a calm and respectful manner, be reliable and trustworthy and work within the school’s policies, including safeguarding and child protection. Experience is not necessary but a passion to support children and young people with special educational needs is essential. The Woodlands School is a specialist provision for children and young people with Autism and/or Social Communication Difficulties, all the students have Education, Health and Care Plans as their needs are long term.
Full-time: This post is for 13.25 hours a week and Term Time Only. The hours for this position are Thursday 8:30 - 4:00pm, Friday 8:30 - 3:15pm.
Please Note: A willingness to take part in swimming is essential as the students take part in swimming as part of the curriculum. You must be over 18 years of age.
This position is based at our Hertford place campus in Bletchley.
We welcome visits to the school.
