What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Experience of working with SEN children or 1:1 working would be desirable, as well as using Read Write Inc to support phonics development.
  • An ability to collaborate and work successfully as part of a team, communicating well with pupils, parents and carers.
  • An ability to develop positive relationships with children, to understand their needs and encouragepositive attitudes to learning.

Whitehouse Primary School are looking to appoint Level 2 Teaching Assistants who can make a difference to the learning of our pupils. You'll form positive relationships and play a key, rewarding part in improving the outcomes for our pupils. You may also work within our Alternative Resource Provision, or with pupils who have education, health and care plans (EHCPs).

The positions are part time, 32.5 hours per week and term time only plus 5 additional days. The roles are fixed term until 31st August 2025
