The successful candidate will have;

  • A working knowledge of health and safety that they can apply to the role.
  • An ability to establish positive relationships with others to work as part of the wider site team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and an understanding of using cleaning equipment would be desirable.

Tyneview Primary School is seeking to appoint a cleaner who can help maintain a safe, clean and hygienic environment for our learners. Duties will include; cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of bins, polishing and dusting.

The working pattern for this role is 3:15pm - 5:15pm Monday to Friday.

Tyneview Primary School is a single form entry school catering for primary-aged children from 2 – 11 years old with an Additional Resources Provision for up to 10 pupils. Our school motto is ‘maximising potential’ which we do through delivering a high-quality and relevant curriculum for all.
