The Opportunity
Chiltern Primary School is looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants, Level 2 to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision, supported by direction from the class teacher /senior leadership team in line with school policies and guidance.
What You Will Bring
The successful candidate must have a good understanding of the National curriculum and EYFS framework, be a positive, cheerful team player, have a growth mindset attitude, and a willingness to learn. They must also be passionate about children’s learning and wellbeing. Knowledge of phonics, early child development, and trauma-informed practice would be an advantage. We also expect excellent skills in English and Maths (GCSE “C” or equivalent) and other curriculum areas. The candidate should have high expectations of the pupils and of themselves; they should have already achieved or be in the process of achieving Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
