Teaching Assistant Level 2 job summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across the school. This role is ideal for someone with strong classroom experience, a proactive approach, and a genuine passion for helping pupils reach their full potential. Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver tailored support for individuals and small groups, you will be helping to reinforce learning, manage behaviour, and promote pupil engagement. With your skills and knowledge, you will take responsibility for leading specific interventions, supporting pupils with additional needs, and contributing to assessment and progress tracking.
In addition to classroom support, your ability to build on positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families will be essential in creating a nurturing and inclusive school community.

Hours of work are 32.5 hours per week, term time only
Salary - (£25,583 - £25,989) FTE - NJC2025 scale point 5-6
