Teaching Assistant Level 2 job summary

Houlton School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA2) to join our Inclusion Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and ambitious school committed to delivering a world-class educational experience for every pupil.

As a TA2, you will work alongside skilled teachers and associate staff to inspire, motivate and challenge students—particularly those with SEND—helping them to make excellent academic and personal progress. You will play a vital role in promoting inclusion, independence and high expectations for all learners.

Houlton School is an 11-18 Free School Academy with World Class Quality Mark status. It is part of the Transforming Lives Educational Trust, based in Rugby. It opened to its founding cohort of Year 7 pupils in September 2021 and will grow, one cohort at a time until there are pupils across ages 11-18.
