We are looking for two Teaching Assistant's to join Isle of Ely Primary, supporting teachers to create inclusive, engaging learning experiences for individuals and small groups of pupils. This role sits at the heart of the classroom, providing practical and emotional support that enables every child to participate fully and make progress, including those with additional or complex needs. Working closely with teaching staff, the successful candidate will bring patience, adaptability and a genuine commitment to helping children overcome barriers to learning, contributing to a positive, supportive school community where high expectations and care go hand in hand.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups, adapting activities to meet pupils’ needs
  • Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEND, to overcome barriers and participate fully in learning
  • Work with teachers to plan, deliver and evaluate learning activities, and monitor pupil progress
  • Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and independence, supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
  • Help prepare learning environments and resources, and contribute to a safe, supportive classroom setting
