St Laurence Church Infant School is a happy, popular, 3-form entry voluntary aided school which enjoys high standards of learning and teaching in a Christian community.

We wish to appoint the following to start as soon as possible

Teaching Assistant Level 2 or Level 3 fixed term until August 2026. For either 32.5hrs/week (8.30 to 3.30 daily) or if preferred this role could be within the school day only to allow flexibility for childcare term time only.

The successful candidate will have:

  • outstanding classroom practitioner skills;
  • a nurturing and attachment aware approach to behaviour management;
  • recent teaching assistant experience in KS1;
  • excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills;
  • a commitment to the Christian ethos of the school;
