What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual who has an excellent work ethic to join our team in KS1 and KS2.

Your role will include supporting pupils at lunch time every day. A paid break will be provided during the day outside of the lunch hour.

We would like to employ a professional, flexible and hardworking Teaching Assistants initially in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Loves working with pupils and is committed to helping them feel safe and happy.
  • Has very high expectations of all children both in the classroom and around school including lunchtimes.
  • Is calm, patient and caring and able to build and maintain excellent relationships with pupils and staff in school
  • Can demonstrate initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Can support with interventions in maths, phonics and reading
  • Puts the wellbeing of pupils at the heart of all they do.
  • Is highly professional and well presented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Is flexible, positive and resilient.
  • Can work within a team to support pupils with SEND
  • Is willing to undertake appropriate further training including first aid.
