Ridgefield Primary School currently has an amazing opportunity to join us as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This position is term-time only, 38 weeks per year, salary scale points 5 – 6 (£24,790 FTE to £25,183 FTE) depending on experience and the working hours are 9.00 am – 3.15 pm. This will be a September 2025 start or as soon as possible.
Ridgefield Primary School is small one form entry school in Cambridge with approximately 210 pupils, and we also benefit from a 26-place nursery. We have a team of committed staff that make learning fun and exciting and they reflect the very best of classroom practice and quite simply enjoy their profession, this is an opportunity to come and join our team.

- Be keen to support class teacher’s learning and carry out interventions
- Be patient, flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of a busy classroom?

- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates a high standard of both spoken and written English
- Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant is desirable, but training will be provided.
