  • Permanent, 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 2 additional days
  • 8:45am - 3:45pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break each day
  • Salary NJC Grade B3, Scale Points 7-11, £27,274 - £29,070 per annum
  • Actual Salary £20,284 - £21,620 per annum

The Governors of this high achieving, oversubscribed school seek to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support the education, personal and social development of students with additional needs under the teacher’s clear guidance.

As a Teaching Assistant you will work under the guidance of the SENCo to implement agreed work programmes/intervention strategies with individuals or groups of students both in and out of the classroom. This may include assisting the teacher in their planning and management/preparation of resources.

  • The ability to build a rapport with students and a passion for education and learning
  • The confidence to work one to one with students
  • An interest in the learning needs of children with Special Educational Needs
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • A high standard of education including Maths and English
