What skills and experience we're looking for

Job Title: Teaching Assistant (including lunchtimes)

Salary: Grade 3

Working Hours:35 Hours Per Week 8.30am -1pm 1.30pm - 4pm Monday to Friday

Working Pattern: Term Time Only

Contract Type: Temporary

Start Date: ASAP

The Governing Body of our friendly primary school with a strong Christian ethos, invite applications for a Teaching Assistant from as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will:

Be fully committed to the centrality of the child in all we do and the importance of meeting their needs.

Have a Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 2 or equivalent.

Be resilient and adapt quickly to change.

Able to use effective strategies to promote positive attitudes to learning.

Be highly motivated with a very positive attitude and enjoy a challenge.

Be nurturing and patient.

Have a good understanding of SEND & adaptive teaching.

Be an excellent practitioner with a desire to help children achieve.

Have excellent skills in positive behaviour management.

Behave in a professional manner within a team environment.

Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively with children, parents and other stakeholders.
