Contract Type: Permanent Basis
Total Hours: 31.25 hours per week, 5 days per week, 39 weeks per year.
Total Actual Salary: £17,127.39 to £17,829.47

Teaching Assistant Level 2:

  • Hours: 17.50 hours per week
  • Grade: D3 to D4 (FTE: £22,737 to £23,114)
  • Actual Salary: £9,239.98 to £9,393.18

HLTA:

  • Hours: 13.75 hours per week
  • Grade: G8 to G12 (FTE: £24,702 to £26,421)
  • Actual Salary: £7,887.41 to £8,436.29

An opportunity has arisen at Pytchley CE Primary School! We are looking to recruit a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to join our committed team. Alongside acting up and supporting our Teachers as HLTA during PPA and other adhoc occasions.

This role will involve working collaboratively, sensitively, and empathetically, to supervise and support pupils in the learning environment, to promote independence, inclusion, acceptance, support social development, welfare needs and whilst the equality of access to learning opportunities for all pupils.

We are seeking someone who:

  • Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly,
  • Ensures all children feel safe, happy, supported and able to learn,
  • Understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children,
  • Confident in using a range of behaviour management skills,
  • Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently,
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
  • Desirable experience in Teaching or experience in delivering cover for Class Teachers.
