Salary Scale: Scale 2, Points 3-4 £24,796 - £25,185 (FTE)
£18,546- £18,837 (Actual)
Term time plus 5 days - 32.5 hours per week

What does a Teaching Assistant do?You will be an essential part of a team working to ensure success and happiness for all. You are there to help children access an ambitious curriculum, develop their independence, and ensure their physical, social, and emotional needs are met within our nurturing setting.Key Responsibilities:
- Support or lead activities for individuals or small groups, such as phonics, to help pupils achieve learning goals.
- Assist with personal care and mobility to encourage pupil growth, confidence and self-esteem.
- Establish trusting bonds to promote social, emotional, and educational development.
- Provide vital feedback to teachers on pupil progress and help prepare a stimulating classroom environment
- Qualifications: GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths is essential.
- Experience: You must have experience working within an educational environment. Experience supporting children with SEND is a significant advantage.
- Skills: You possess active listening skills, strong verbal communication, and the ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
- Tech Savvy: Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and supporting the use of technology in the classroom.
