Teaching Assistant Level 3 job summary

We are looking for a dedicated, nurturing and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Gorefield Primary Academy. This role will involve supporting children in both Reception and Key Stage 1, so experience across the early years and lower primary is essential. You will work 32.5 hours per week, 39 working weeks per annum, term-time only, including training days, 8:30 a.m.to 3:30 p.m. with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break.

We are looking for someone with recent, relevant experience who will bring enthusiasm and a commitment to children's learning to our happy and friendly small village school. The ideal candidate will have a range of recent, relevant experience working across both Reception and Key Stage 1 and understand the importance of the smooth transition between Reception and Year 1. You will assist the class teacher in the delivery of high Quality First Teaching, as well as supporting children one-to-one in the classroom and at unstructured times as needed.

The right candidate will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They must demonstrate full commitment to the school, its vision and its aim to raise standards.
