Working Pattern: 2 x Part Time Role 20 hours / 2 x Full Time 32.5 hours, Term Time Only
Salary: ALT Grade D (£25,386 - £25,989 FTE)

At Hillside Primary School, we know that strong early years provision is built by skilled, caring adults who truly understand how young children learn and grow. We are looking to appoint four Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join our Early Years team, including two part-time roles in Nursery and two full-time roles in Reception. Working closely with teachers, these posts focus on supporting high-quality learning, adapting provision to meet individual needs and helping children develop confidence, curiosity and independence from the very start.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality learning activities for individuals and groups, adapting provision to meet pupils’ needs
  • Provide specialist support in areas such as SEN, EAL or a specific learning focus, including contributing to individual plans and reviews
  • Promote pupils’ academic, social and emotional development, encouraging independence and positive behaviour
  • Contribute to assessment, record keeping and communication with staff and families
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment in line with safeguarding and Trust expectations
