What skills and experience we're looking for

Central England Academy Trust provides excellent education to learners in Nuneaton and the surrounding areas. We have five schools: Oak Wood Primary School, Oak Wood Secondary School, Michael Drayton Junior School, Higham Lane School and Higham Lane North Academy. Together, we offer a comprehensive education to students aged 4 to 19 in both mainstream and SEND settings. We are a diverse Trust that celebrates individual learning needs, including profound, severe, and complex learning needs.

Oak Wood Primary School is a successful specialist setting for children aged from 4 to 11 with a broad spectrum of special educational needs and learning disabilities. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated level 3 Teaching Assistant who will plan and lead opportunities for our pupils. Candidates are required to be skilled in using proactive behaviour management strategies to ensure best possible outcomes for all pupils.

Oak Wood Primary School is a thriving special school that caters for 140 primary pupils. All pupils have an ECHP and are supported through personalised curriculums. The above position offers an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to be part of Central England Academy Trust.
