What skills and experience we're looking for

This post is a Level 3 teaching assistant post across the primary phase. Deployment will be in form of a mix of class support, group support and one to one work. The post would suit someone confident as some temporary cover will be expected as part of this role.

We are seeking someone who has experience in:

  • Supporting children with special educational needs
  • Confident to work across the primary phase
  • Confident to work with a pupil one to one and support in a classroom.
  • Adaptable/Flexible
  • Has at least a Level 3 qualification as a teaching assistant
  • Has GCSE Maths/English or equivalent
  • Confident to work as a team member, excellent communication skills

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
