What skills and experience we're looking for

  • We are seeking to appoint ambitious an enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant who will complement the professional work of Teachers, support the learning and teaching of children and young people and be committed to safeguarding and supportive of the ethos of our school.
  • under the direction of the teacher, plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals or groups, or short term for whole classes
  • monitor, assess, record and report on students’ progress, achievement and development
  • establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations
  • support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs
  • record progress and achievement systematically, and provide evidence of range and level of progress and attainment
  • liaise with parents to support with students’ learning, and contribute to/lead meetings with parents to provide constructive feedback

  • have a willingness to by fully involved in the life of the academy
