Teaching Assistant Level 3 job summary

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Level 3. This role will be based at St Peter's Catholic First School. This is a permanent position, part time working 27 hours per week on a term time only plus INSET days basis (39 weeks per year).

The successful candidate will have:

  • a Level 3 or equivalent qualification and significant experience in Early Years education
  • a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • previous experience in a nursery, pre-school or early years setting
  • a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will:
  • plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • provide individual and group support to children, including those with additional needs
  • build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • maintain accurate observations and records to track children’s progress
  • ensure the pre-school environment is safe, clean, and welcoming
  • work collaboratively with the team to create a warm and inclusive setting
  • be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of our school
