Teaching Assistant (Level 3) job summary

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team of support staff from September 2026. This is a fixed term contract until the end of the summer term 2027 in the first instance.

You will need to have:

NVQ level 3

a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Teaching Assistant

Good oral, written and numeracy skills

High expectations of all children

The ability to enthuse and inspire children

A commitment to improving outcomes for all children

Knowledge about how children learn and progress

The ability to work as part of a team

Willingness to go the extra mile

We will shortlist on Friday 12th June at 12pm and send invites out Monday 15th June.

Recruitment will have two parts.

Tests (include a Maths and English test) Friday 19th June

Interview Tuesday 23rd June
