The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 at Yew Tree Primary School, Yew Tree Lane, Dukinfield, SK16 5BJ.
Details about the role:
To start January 2026 to 31st August 2026
Teaching Assistant Level 3 full-time Salary £28,142-£30,518
The role is fixed-term, part-time 32.5 hours per week, Term Time Only with an actual salary £21,741-£23,577, (Grade E Point 11-16)

To work under the guidance/instruction of designated teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the
teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area under the guidance of teaching staff.
We are looking for a person who has:
• Proven outstanding experience/practice as a Teaching Assistant Level 3
• Experience of teaching groups of pupils at primary level
• Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
• Excellent skills in team working
• Excellent skills in working with children
• Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
• A desire for career development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The proposed timescale for the selection and interview process is as follows:
• Applications close @ 12:00 on Friday 12th December 2025 although the Trust reserve the right to close the process early if suitable candidates are identified through our selection process.
• Interviews will take place on Thursday 18th December 2025.
• Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed.
