The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant Level 4 to join our supportive and professional team. In this key role, you will:

Provide targeted 1:1 support to help prepare for learning, engage positively and achieve their best

Use specialist skills and knowledge to support pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties
-
Plan, deliver and evaluate individual learning within an agreed system of supervision
-
Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families, staff and multi-disciplinary professionals
-
Support with personal care, communication, behaviour and independence, ensuring dignity and safety at all times
- Contribute to high-quality record-keeping, assessment and support plans

Model and promote teamwork, professionalism and the ethos of the school.
About You
You will be someone who:
-
Holds NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and ideally HLTA status

Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills
-
Has experience working with pupils with a wide range of special educational needs
-
Understands child development and the impact of different conditions on learning
-
Communicates well with pupils, families, colleagues and professionals
-
Can work collaboratively, lead others effectively and organise the classroom environment
-
Is confident supporting behaviour, communication, personal care and therapeutic programmes
-
Shows resilience, professionalism and a commitment to safeguarding
-
Is flexible, reflective and eager to continue developing your professional skills
