You will be part of a team that provides outstanding educational opportunities for all of our pupils through creative, carefully sequenced and highly effective lines of inquiry where all learners are at the very core of driving our curriculum.
As a Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to improve the provision for all children.Experience of working with children in schools is essential. There may be times when you're needed to cover the class in the teacher's absence so experience of this is advantageous.
The successful candidatewill need to have relevant experience and/or qualifications in working with primary-aged children. We are also looking forproven high standards of both spoken and written English and Mathematics. Being able to communicate effectively with children and adults is essential, together with a friendly and approachable manner. Our newly appointed TA will be able to work using their own initiative and can demonstrate effective behaviour management skills. In return, they will join a supportive environment with plenty of development opportunities within the academy and across the wider Trust.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Knowledge and experience of working within KS1
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Creativity and passion for learning
- A thirst for knowledge, high expectations and the ability to inspire and motivate children.
- Dedication to the job and the skills to prioritisethe needs of the children in their care.
- Resilience and the ability to besolution-focused
The role offers an actual salary of £15,102 (£20,789 full time equivalent)per annum based on 31 hours and 15 minutes hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset. The role will be centred around supporting children’s learning and development in all aspects of school life, not only in class but during social times too.
