What skills and experience we're looking for
To support and develop learning in the school in order that the children can achieve their potential academically, socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically through confidential flexible practices.
Our wonderful children need a TA who is able to:
- motivate and engage them in their learning
- support our teachers with planning and preparation of tasks
- lead 1:1 and small group tasks
- help them interact with their peers positively at break and lunchtimes
- provide intimate care as required
Essential Requirements
A good basic education with at least a GCSE Grade C/4 in English & Maths (or recognised equivalent qualification.)
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Flexible, approachable, committed, well organised, enthusiastic, creative, adaptable in helping to deliver a happy and successful learning experience for our pupils across all year groups
Desirable Requirements
Experience of working with children in a school environment
A TA qualification
Experience of working across KS1/EYFS
Ability to run interventions
An awareness of different learning styles
General understanding of the national curriculum
