Salary: NJC 12-19 £28,598 - £32,061 (FTE) £21,179 - £23,743 (Actual Salary) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 32 per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time + inset days)

At Lift Unity City, we believe every young person deserves to feel valued, supported and able to succeed. We are looking for a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students within our Base provision.
In this role, you will work alongside teachers to help create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, understood and empowered to achieve their potential. Our Base provision supports students who may experience additional challenges in school, and your role will be central in helping them access learning, build confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
You will help break down barriers to learning, adapt support to meet individual needs, and celebrate every step of progress. Through encouragement, patience and understanding, you will help students develop independence, resilience and a strong sense of belonging within the school community.

We are looking for someone who will:
* Work in partnership with teachers to adapt learning so it is accessible and engaging for all students.
* Provide consistent, compassionate support to students who may sometimes find school life challenging.
* Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.
* Champion inclusion and help every student feel valued and able to participate fully in school life.
* Bring resilience, flexibility and a positive outlook to a role where every day makes a difference.

We are looking for someone has:
* Experience of working with young people
* Training in/ or willing to complete Teaching Assistant training (level 3)
* Has a minimum of GCSE C /4 or level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths
