Part time (Can be done as a job share): The working pattern for this role will be Monday – Friday: Monday – 8.45am-3.20pm (with a 45 minute lunch break between 12.15-1pm) Tuesday – 1pm-3.20pm Wednesday – 8.45am-3.20pm (with a 45 minute lunch break between 12.15-1pm) Thursday – 1pm-3.20pm Friday – 9.30am-12pm A job share would also be considered.

Grade 7 Actual Salary £11,804.16 - £12,664.44 per annum

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of Melbourne Infant School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis, starting in January 2026 and working until 31stAugust 2026 (or until the child leaves the provision).

The successful candidate will work within one of our KS1 classes and will be working with a child with special educational needs; helping them to develop their learning and work towards their educational targets. The successful candidate will be able to motivate and support children within the classroom, undertake other classroom duties to support the class teacher, and work co-operatively within a team.
