TEACHING ASSISTANT

32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

8:30am-3:30pm (including ½ unpaid lunch break)

Term time plus training days

Grade 3, Point 6-9 - £21,268-£22,752 per annum depending on experience

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, and flexible teaching assistant to support our pupils in their learning journey working within different classrooms to meet the needs of the school.

The role will involve supporting teachers in the classroom, working with pupils to meet their targets within the classroom environment in small groups and individually and assisting with the preparation of resources. The role may also involve working with pupils with a range of neurodiverse needs.

We are looking for a TA who:

  • Has excellent literacy, numeracy, and communication skills at GCSE Grade 4 level or equivalent
  • Has competent IT skills
  • Is organised and creative
  • Is adaptable and has a positive attitude
  • Enjoys challenging and inspiring children
  • Is committed to team working
  • Has knowledge of working in EYFS, KS1 and KS2, or be willing to undertake relevant training
