We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our lovely school and the Bressingham team.
Working hours – Tuesday and Wednesday, Hours (8.40am – 3.20pm)
We are looking for someone who ideally:
- Has a positive ‘can do’ attitude and is able to set clear, firm expectations for behaviour
- Has good English, maths and phonics skills and is confident to work in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
- Is a nurturing, calm and forward-thinking individual
- Is confidential
- Would embrace our school ethos
- Has knowledge and experience of primary school level learning and can support an exciting and challenging curriculum
- Can communicate well and form positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Has a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children and can demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Is flexible and adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
- Can confidently carry out midday supervisory assistant duties, including helping to set up, monitor and clear up after lunches, and supervise and facilitate successful playtimes for children
