We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant to join our school from September 2026.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm
Just over 30 minutes of picturesque driving from Norwich and Great Yarmouth (travelling in the opposite direction to most cars!) is The AIM Federation of Schools - an established federation of six schools and an SEMH Base located along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast and the Norfolk Broads.
Not only will you be joining a dedicated and hardworking team at Mundesley Infants, you’ll be collaborating with a wider team of around 130 staff in total, across the six schools, working together and striving to deliver the very best education for our local communities.
AIM Federation takes your CPD very seriously. One of our Deputy Executive Heads role is Teaching and Learning, Standards and CPD across the seven schools, and leads the development of our curriculum alongside our Heads of School and their school teams. Our DET has the time to research into the latest and most effective pedagogies which develop our forward thinking curriculum and staff team. Working in small schools can sometimes feel isolating but at AIM Federation we plan and learn together across the federation. We also used this joined-up approach to assess and moderate children’s work, allowing us to all learn and improve our practice together. We also offer personalised CPD for all of our teachers and support staff, no matter what their level of experience. Our Training Suite used for all off-site training is based at Horning Primary, equidistant between our schools.
We are looking for candidates who;
- Good Numeracy and Literacy skills
- Can form positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Are able to support the children within the class and during break times.
- Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children
- Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour
- Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team
- Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary
We can offer you:
- An amazing team of supportive staff
- Opportunities for training and professional development
