What skills and experience we're looking for

Main purpose

To provide learning and care support for pupils including pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This will involve working with the teacher to plan and deliver activities and supporting pupils with routines, transitions and behaviour management.

The post holder will hold at least a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent qualification or experience. They must be able to demonstrate excellent relationships with children and adults. The successful candidate will help and instruct both individual and groups of pupils as they work on literacy and numeracy tasks, giving pupils feedback and supporting then in working towards their individual targets.
