Teaching Assistant job summary

The working hours will be 8.30am to 3.30pm with a one hour unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday, term time only (30 paid hours per week). The salary quoted is intended as a guide and makes certain assumptions, so the actual salary will depend on factors such as any prior continuous service.

The successful applicant will:

- be able to support children in their learning, working 1:1 (under the direction of the teacher) and with small groups (under the direction of the SENCO)

- be flexible and able to cope with change

- be able to communicate clearly and co-operate positively with staff and parents as well as the pupils.
