- Are a caring and warm individual who wants to be part of a friendly and motivated team
- Genuinely enjoy supporting children and believe that every child can achieve
- Are enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and believe that learning should be creative and fun
Then we can offer you an opportunity to work in our happy, friendly school.

- Develop non-verbal communication skills so the child can make requests, show a preference through reaching and pointing and expressing wants and needs.
- Develop the child’s receptive language skills so they can engage with some classroom routines, understand simple instructions involving a choice, and follow directions containing two key words.
- Develop listening and attention skills on a one to one and a small group basis to allow the child to complete, and transition between, adult directed activities.
- Develop literacy skills so the child can imitate sounds, words and phrases and join in with familiar rhymes and songs.
- Develop numeracy skills so the child can use early maths concepts including matching, categorising, and counting.
- Develop mark making skills so the child can use a range of resources and materials to further develop their recording and handwriting skills.
- Assist children in matters of personal needs and their additional needs including first aid and welfare matters
- Follow guidance from the Speech and Language Therapist and Autism Inclusion Team.
- Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
