Easton Primary School

Easton Primary School is a small, rural village school with just 74 pupils. We have three classes of mixed year groups - Hazel class (Reception, Year 1 and 2), Rowan class (Year 3 and 4), and Oak class (Year 5 and 6). Our team consists of four class teachers, two HLTAs, and three TAs.

Our school is set in beautiful countryside, with large outdoor grounds that include a forest school area, children's vegetable and fruit garden, a field with climbing frame, and a playground with climbing equipment. We have a strong focus on sport, arts, and reading, and our pupils are known for their excellent behaviour and friendly, family-like atmosphere.

Easton Primary School is a Good school according to Ofsted, and we take pride in our creative, close-knit community.

Teaching Assistant (0.4)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and support our class teachers. This is a 0.4 role, with responsibilities including:

  • Delivering interventions planned by the class teacher
  • Providing support during lessons
  • Assisting with lunchtime and break duties as timetabled

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
