Teaching Assistant – Permanent job summary
Townville Infant School is looking to appoint a KS1 practitioner to join our forward thinking and hardworking team.
If you have a desire to be an outstanding Teaching Assistant and provide the best possible learning experiences for young children so that they are able to fulfil their greatest potential, this role could be the one for you!
The successful candidate will:
Have a good understanding of, and experience of working in, KS1 and/or Early Years.
Be an excellent practitioner, enthusing and inspiring children.
Recognise and value the role children play in their own learning and development.
Be able to support the class teacher effectively ensuring a positive impact on pupil progress and productivity.
Have a keen interest in supporting children through provision-based enquiry.
Have a high expectation of attainment and behaviour.
Understand and value the importance of their role in the wider picture of whole school improvement.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Have the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with parents.
Be committed to undertaking professional development to support their role.
Have a positive and enthusiastic disposition.
